Marssa Giahi-Rivera was called to the Ontario Bar in 2006 after completing and obtaining her joint law degree (J.D./LL.B.) from the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy. After articling, Marssa took a big leap in entrepreneurial spirit and opened her own law practice where she focused on all areas of real estate law and corporate/commercial law. Shortly thereafter, Marssa joined the association of highly regarded and experienced lawyers known as Thompson Dymond with the like-minded goal of providing clients with quality work and advice that is practical, cost effective and that clients can understand.
Marssa assists the Association’s clients with their purchase, sale and financing of commercial, industrial, residential and investment based real estate as well as assisting them on their other real estate related matters. No two deals are alike and Marssa’s experience in handling multi-faceted real estate transactions over the last fifteen years has provided her the expertise to be able to comfortably navigate any issues that arise on a transaction.
Marssa’s typical clients are individuals, corporations, investors, builders and developers. Marssa enjoys getting to know her clients and gaining a better understanding of their lives and businesses so that she can become a more effective legal advisor for them.
